A planning project, this explores the principles of “good”
Urban Design and does not follow one particular school of Urbanism. The site is Lindbergh Plaza located on the corner of Piedmont and Sidney Marcus that houses big box retailers like Target and Home Depot.
||I was the urban designer for this project. With my partner, we produced all the CAD, diagrams, and layouts.
||During the design process, Lindbergh Plaza was still in construction. It was believed that the current plans for development did not fully take into consideration the adjacent residential neighborhood. In the end, four mixed-use master plan proposals were suggested that attempted to transform a purely retail-based development into an integral part of a community.
